Add online booking to a custom website with the Schedito booking widget

Add a complete booking layer to your own website without building scheduling, availability and booking logic from scratch. Your frontend stays yours; Schedito provides the booking system behind it.

Schedito integrates through standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript, making it suitable for custom-built websites without tying the booking configuration to a particular CMS, theme or website builder.

A booking layer for developers who want to keep control of the website

Keep full control of your frontend

Continue building the website with your own architecture, components and deployment process. Schedito adds booking without taking over the rest of the application.

Do not rebuild scheduling infrastructure

Use Schedito for services, resources, availability, exceptions, bookings and scheduling rules instead of implementing the entire booking domain yourself.

Keep booking independent from the website

Your booking configuration remains in Schedito, so redesigning or replacing the frontend does not mean recreating the booking model.

How Schedito works with a custom website

A small frontend integration connects your website to a separately managed booking system.

1. Configure Schedito

Create booking calendars, services, resources, availability rules, exceptions and other scheduling configuration in Schedito.

2. Add three frontend elements

Load the shared Schedito stylesheet and JavaScript once, then place the calendar-specific widget DIV wherever the booking interface should render.

3. Receive bookings

Your website presents the booking experience while Schedito evaluates availability and stores the resulting bookings centrally.

Three elements. No platform-specific plugin required.

The Schedito dashboard gives you a stylesheet link, a JavaScript script and a calendar-specific HTML DIV.

Load the stylesheet once in the document head, load the JavaScript once with the rest of your frontend scripts, and place the widget DIV in the component, template or page where booking should appear.

If the site contains several Schedito calendars, they can share the same CSS and JavaScript while each uses its own calendar-specific DIV.

Use Schedito as the booking domain behind your frontend

Availability rules

Combine recurring working hours with closures, exceptions and availability that exists only on selected dates.

Services and resources

Model services together with people, rooms, equipment and other resources needed to provide them.

Appointments and fixed-date sessions

Handle recurring appointments as well as workshops, sessions and other booking opportunities on specific dates.

Capacity-aware booking

Allow several customers to reserve the same session when the associated resource has multiple available places.

External calendar synchronization

On supported plans, connect external calendars such as Google Calendar to help keep availability aligned with existing commitments.

Frontend-friendly styling

Use light or dark presentation and configure supported visual properties so the widget fits the surrounding design.

Custom website booking widget FAQ

No. A custom website can integrate Schedito directly through the CSS link, JavaScript script and calendar-specific widget DIV supplied by the Schedito dashboard.

No. Load the shared stylesheet and JavaScript once at the appropriate application or page scope. Each booking location then needs only its own calendar-specific DIV.

No. Schedito handles the booking domain. Your application can continue to have its own backend, authentication, content, commerce and business logic.

Schedito manages its own booking calendars, services, resources, availability and booking data. Your website provides the customer-facing frontend integration.

Yes. Because the booking model remains in Schedito, a new frontend normally needs only the Schedito integration to be added again. The underlying services, resources and availability do not need to be recreated.

Yes. Place different calendar-specific widget DIVs where needed while sharing the common Schedito stylesheet and JavaScript across the site.

Build your website. Do not rebuild booking infrastructure.
