Add online booking to Squarespace with a Schedito booking widget

Keep your existing Squarespace website and add online booking without moving your services, resources or scheduling rules into the website builder. Squarespace remains your website; Schedito manages booking behind it.

Schedito uses standard frontend integration, so your booking configuration stays independent from your Squarespace pages and can continue with you if the website changes later.

Booking for Squarespace without making the website your booking system

Keep your Squarespace website

Add booking to the pages and design you already maintain instead of rebuilding your website around a separate booking product.

Keep booking configuration independent

Services, resources, availability and bookings remain centrally managed in Schedito rather than becoming part of your Squarespace page structure.

Put booking where customers need it

Add the booking interface to a dedicated booking page, service page, consultation page or another relevant point in your website journey.

How Schedito works with Squarespace

Squarespace presents your business. Schedito manages when and how customers can book it.

1. Configure Schedito

Create your booking calendar, services, resources, recurring availability and date-specific exceptions in Schedito.

2. Connect Squarespace

Use Squarespace custom-code functionality to load the Schedito frontend assets and place the calendar-specific widget in the page.

3. Receive bookings

Customers see actual availability while Schedito applies your scheduling rules and centrally manages the resulting bookings.

A straightforward fit for Squarespace custom code

Squarespace supports custom code at site level and content-level Code Blocks for third-party widgets.

On an eligible Squarespace plan, this maps naturally to Schedito's preferred integration structure: load the shared stylesheet and JavaScript once, then put the calendar-specific widget container in the page where booking should render.

If several booking pages use Schedito, the shared assets do not need to be copied into every individual widget.

Squarespace booking widget FAQ

Yes. Squarespace Code Blocks support custom HTML and are designed for use cases including third-party widgets. Schedito's calendar-specific widget container can be placed in a Code Block.

No. On Squarespace plans that support Code Injection, the shared Schedito assets can normally be loaded once at site level while each booking location contains only its calendar-specific widget DIV.

Not necessarily. Squarespace allows basic HTML in Code Blocks on all plans, but Code Injection and JavaScript-capable Code Blocks are available only on eligible plans.

Check your current Squarespace plan before implementing a JavaScript-based third-party widget. The Schedito installation guide explains the requirement in more detail.

No. Schedito remains responsible for services, resources, availability and booking data. Squarespace provides the website around the booking experience.

Your booking configuration stays in Schedito. You may need to reposition the widget or reapply the frontend integration, but your services, resources and scheduling rules do not need to be recreated.

Yes. Schedito is independent from the website builder. Integrate it with another supported website environment and continue using your existing booking configuration.
